Plan, elevation, section — the work on paper is where architecture begins. A single line conceives a space's function and form, and that conception passes through countless deliberations, experiments, and inquiries into detail and material before it is finally realised as a building people inhabit. We consider essence over trend, and use over shape.

Just as a finished work is judged by those who use it, we believe its starting point — the work on paper — deserves to be read, valued, and given meaning in its own right.
