Challenge

요구 면적이 커서 지하를 활용할 수밖에 없었다. 지하가 지상과 비슷한 수준의 거주환경이 되어야 했다.

Approach

대형 오픈 공간을 계획해 지하의 환경을 끌어올렸다. 내부 기능의 중심을 각 층 중앙의 간호사실에 두고, 외부 형태에서도 건물 중심에 경사진 유리면을 삽입해 그 중심을 드러냈다.

Overview

As the required area was large, the basement had to be used; to provide a living environment close to that above ground, a large open space was planned.

The core of the interior function is the nurses' station at the center of each floor, and on the exterior too an inclined glass face was inserted at the building's center.
