학교 부지에 면한 작은 대지다.

Brief

커피와 스낵류를 취급하는 휴게음식점 건물이다.

Challenge

1층과 2층을 잇는 수직 동선에 공간을 할애하기조차 어려운 규모였다.

Approach

아기자기함을 넘어, 실제 사용자가 공간을 자연스럽게 인식하도록 하는 데 주력했다.

Overview

A refreshment eatery serving coffee and snacks on a small site facing a school property.

At a scale where it was hard even to allot space for the vertical circulation connecting the two floors, we focused — beyond mere quaintness — on making the actual users' perception of space feel natural.

I only hope the passion put into the drawings is felt by the users, and the responsibility for any negative outcome rightly rests with the designer.
